Kansas City on Travel + Leisure 2024 top travel destinations

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Maybe you could say Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are putting Kansas City on the map, as the city ranks as one of the top travel destinations for 2024.

Travel + Leisure named Kansas City, Missouri, as one of its 50 Best Places to Travel in 2024. Travel + Leisure is one of the top travel media brands in the world.

More than 20 Travel + Leisure employees helped create this year’s list of where they say travelers should consider visiting next year.

Myrtle Beach ranked among top five travel destinations for summer 2024

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WPDE) — The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) announced the city was recognized as a Top Family Travel Destination for Summer 2024, according to Google Flights.

Myrtle Beach came in second on the travel website’s top five list based on the most searched-for destinations by American families for travel between June 1 and August 31. Myrtle Beach was also the only US-based destination on the list.

MICHIGAN — Michigan has some of the best places to visit this summer, according to a WalletHub ranking released Tuesday.

There are three areas in the state included among the personal finance website’s Best Summer Travel Destinations 2024.

WalletHub released the list of 100 US destinations likely for summer travel based on travel expenses and hassles, local costs, attractions, weather, activities and safety.
