Custom tour operator Avanti Destinations is offering a new way for travelers and their travel advisors to easily access important travel documents: the new Mobile Documents app, available on all mobile devices.

Travel advisors can learn how to use the new app through an online video demonstration on Avanti’s advisor portal.

A savvy student is traveling round Europe for next to nothing – going on day trips cheaper than a train ticket from Bristol to London.

Ellie Whiten, 22, has been on nine foreign day trips for consecutive months since October 2023, and says she has experienced a cheap “taster course of Europe.”

Government told e-gates no longer reliable after latest meltdown causes passenger chaos

The prospect of further airport chaos has been raised with a warning to the government that the e-gates system which automatically checks travelers’ passports is no longer reliable – following yet another nationwide meltdown.

Airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Stansted and Edinburgh saw long queues and delays after the country’s Border Force passport e-gates were hit by a nationwide glitch on Tuesday.
